This "forum" is an exclusive for BCYC Members to let other members know about NAUTICAL items (boats, nautical decor, misc boating gear etc.) they would like to sell. While the site essentially functions as a "blog", it will allow members to post information on items they are selling and easily communicate with other members/potential buyers.  If you are creating a "new" post/blog (not replying to a post), scroll down and select the "Comment" button to open the dialog area, then scroll further down to "Leave a Reply" to create a NEW "post/blog" about your specific item(s) to which others can then respond. If you are an "interested party", on someone's post, simply click on "Reply" (far right side) underneath the specific post to respond and communicate questions, interest etc.

Unfortunately, this format does not have the ability to show pictures, however, as a "poster" when you fill in the brief information required in the "Leave a Reply" set-up, you can paste a link from the "URL" section at the top of your website into the "Leave a Reply" box for the website address. That link can be to a site such as boattrader.com; yachtworld.com, craigslist.com or any other site you select that would have your pictures or your item(s).  In the "comments" box, provide a good description, pricing and your contact info (phone/email). If you are responding to a "post/blog" and find that the "poster" name is bolded and underlined, that means there is a link to a website with pictures and further information. Click on the "posters" name to go to the appropriate website.  NOTE: Posts will automatically delete after 30 days. If you sell the item before such time, please return to the site and UPDATE your post by making an appropriate comment (ie: SOLD).

We are selling our 1986 25' SeaRay with a cuddy cabin that is in very good condition. We bought it in 1988 from the original owners and have put very few hours on it. It has a 260 HP Mercruiser (8 cylinder) engine with only about 100 hours on it. This is the original engine. In the summer, the boat has always been on a lift. During the winter, the boat has either been shrinked wrapped on a lift at a permanent dock or stored inside. Conrad Evans has taken care of the boat since it has been in Boyne City, about 5 years. The boat has a 13S Danforth anchor and miscellaneous other items that are included.

Additionally, we have a 2011 Venture, dual axle, galvanized steel trailer that has only been used to haul the boat from the Detroit area and for storage. Finally, it has a canvas cockpit cover that was custom made for it in 2011 that has hardly been used.

We are asking $9,500 for the boat, trailer, cockpit cover and miscellaneous boat items. If you or anyone you know is interested in a older boat in very good condition please contact me via Email at chris.schade@sbcglobal.net or by cell/text at 313 510-0993. We wanted to list it for members to see prior to putting it on Craigslist or other websites for sale. So if you are interested, please contact us soon or it may be gone.

I have a half a sheet of HDPE white marine board. It is 3/4” x 48” x 54”. I used this material to construct my dinghy davit. It can also be used other marine applications like cabinetry, countertops, and cutting boards. I paid $675 for the full sheet and will take $250 for the half sheet I have remaining. You can call or text me at 231-340-0246.
