On the second Saturday and Sunday of June each year, the BCYC hosts the Mark Madness Regatta. The regatta has raised funds for the Challenge Mountain Adaptive Sailing program. The CM 20 (below) is now sailing. Sailors have enjoyed the regatta due to its multiple race, two-day format with a high level of competition which helps shake out the rust early in the season.

Sailors enjoy "Mardi Gras in June" (with suitable refreshments) in the park in Boyne City on Saturday following the first afternoon of racing.
