Mark Madness is The BCYC's signature
sailing event. As one of the early-season
Regattas in Northern Michigan, it presents
the opportunity to polish crew work and
get a sailboat into a strong racing
condition. Two days of buoy racing on
beautiful Lake Charlevoix in the stronger
winds typical to that time of the year can't
be beat!
Our fourth annual event will be held June
7 & 8, 2008. We are already hearing from
area one-design fleets committing to our
event. We plan to race on two separate
courses in 2008 with OD and PHRF on
their own "racetracks".
Again, the Cajun Shrimp Boil Benefit for
Challenge Mountain will return to rave
reviews and one of our local musical stars
(Dave Cisco) has committed to perform
Saturday night (also to rave reviews).
