I would also like to thank all the people involved in supporting
Jack and his sailing habit. He is still wound right tight about last
weekend! Special thanks to Chris and Josh, their quick rigging changes
made all the difference on Sunday. I am ashamed to say I don't remember
the name of the gentleman who loaned Jack the jib (edit: it was Bill
Hawkins). Hats off to him also. This group of people are fantastic folks!
Our first race outing was just like our first visit to Challenge Mt. I am sure
we will participate with this for years to come. I will have Brenda forward
the pics we have. However they are mostly of Jack so I don't know if you
would be interested in them..........just kidding! Jack is already
planning for next years race. Him and Zack are going to place marks in
Lake Cadillac and practice all summer. Did you hear about the violin
playing during the last race?
Thank you again for all you have done. The boys truly felt they were
just another race team not a couple of kids being humored. They were
taken seriously as racers even though it was their first outing. As
seen from my eyes that was a beautiful sight to witness, and will be
remembered forever. I would like to get contact info for those who have
helped with the gear that was loaned or gave to Wave Slayer so I can
send them a note of thanks.
