The Cajun Shrimp Boil was held Saturday June 9th.
Once again the Cajun Shrimp "Master Chef", Bob Kopec
outdid himself. Sailboat racers and Yacht Club members
devoured over 120 pounds of shrimp. The best estimate
is 150 dinners served that night. The count on kegs of
beer and boxes of wine is still being tallied.....
There were dancers on the grass as Dave Cisco
serenaded the group with lively guitar and steel drums.
The 50/50 drawing hit epic proportions, all proceeds
were donated to Challenge Mountain's adaptive sailing
program.
All in all, it was a wonderful successful event. Mark your
calendars for June 7 & 8, 2008. This is a don't-miss
event!
