On Saturday July 25th, 2009 the BCYC brought back a
classic fondly remembered by the "old timers". The IWR
used to be a highlight of the racing season and it is
definitely back!
Nine boats accepted the challenge of a Bermuda start on a
15 mile course.
In the JAM division, "Restless" and "geez Louise!" battled to
the end with "Restless" victorious by two lengths.
In the Spinnaker division, "Night Moves", "Lickety Split
Too", and "Spar Wars 3" finished within seconds with
"Night Moves" rising to the top.
Yes, Bermuda starts can make things interesting!
